Abusix' Global Reporting Project implements new standard for spam reporting
The Global Reporting Project - reporting network abuse since 2008 - is among the first to implement the new RFC 5965 "An Extensible Format for Email Feedback Reports", better known as "message abuse reporting format" up to now.
Abusix is a long-term contributor and user of abuse report formats and is pleased that the IETF made automated abuse reporting official by passing the RFC 5965. This is a great chance for a more efficient handling of abuse messages for those who are affected - helping abuse desks fighting spam with much more effective measures.
The Global Reporting Project has implemented RFC 5965 and is using it to report email abusive behavior to the originating networks. Exactly from now on.
